While the building of Eden's new facility was in progress, Mike Gardner, Eden's technical director, had to consider which equipment to purchase for the studio. At the top of his list was a mixer - but nothing on the market could fulfil Eden's extensive requirements. So instead Mike enlisted the help of his former BBC colleague Chris Glass to design and build the now legendary Eden Console.
